We use the iTero Element 2, a state-of-the-art 3D digital scanning system, that eliminates the need for unpleasant traditional gooey impressions. No more messy putty in your mouth.
Not only is the digital scan far more comfortable than the old putty-based impressions, it’s also faster and provides more precise images. The newest iTero scanner uses both optical and laser scanning to capture every detail of your tooth with an accuracy of up to 30 micrometers.
WHAT IS 3D SCANNING?
During the scanning process, we will use the iTero Element 2 wand to capture images of your teeth and gum tissue. The wand captures an impressive 6000 frames per a second and quickly generates a digitally perfect 3D image of your teeth in as little as two minutes.
The scanner uses a radiation-free laser so that there are no harmful side effects to your health. Unlike gooey impressions, you can breathe or swallow normally during a scan, and even pause to sneeze!
