WHAT IS INVISALIGN?

Invisalign is orthodontic treatment using a series of clear aligners to move your teeth. Each aligner is removable and should be worn all the time, except when eating, brushing and flossing. Each aligner is changed when the movements in the specific aligner has been fully expressed and treatment is complete when the last aligner is finished.

Is Invisalign right for me?

If you want an invisible method to align your teeth, Invisalign is the clear treatment choice for adults. It's most appealing  for people with high aesthetic needs such as adults who have a very public facing job and prefer to straighten their teeth more discreetly . Invisalign also enables you to continue to eat your favorite foods by simply removing the aligners and be ready for a lunch meeting. An experienced orthodontist can treat most malocclusions with Invisalign using a customized treatment plan.

How often can I change my aligners?

An aligner can be changed at intervals of 4 days to as long as 14 days depending on the specific movements designed specifically to meet your needs. Our Virtual Appointments powered by artificial intelligence speeds up the process by detecting exactly when you should move on to your next aligner.

Invisalign, however, is not an automated process. To get the best results with Invisalign, we need to specifically design your treatment using the Invisalign software taking into account your unique bone morphology and tooth structure.

How long will I wear aligners?

Every removable aligner is worn 22 hours each day and is only removed when eating, or brushing and flossing teeth. The total length of your treatment depends on the complexity of the movements required, the skill of the orthodontist in designing your Invisalign treatment, and your compliance in wearing your aligners every day. The average duration of treatment is three to six months.

Does Invisalign require office visits?

Supervision by an experienced orthodontist is recommended for Invisalign treatment to ensure the best outcome for your smile.  You should require fewer office visits than you would with traditional braces because the plastic aligners are less prone to breakage compared to brackets attached to your teeth.

You will also be able to simply move to the next set of aligners at home with the help of our Artificial Intelligence Dental Monitoring System that can track your treatment progress virtually anywhere in the world.

What is Invisalign without attachments?

There are permanent, tooth colored "attachments" for all Invisalign cases and some are also attached to the front of the teeth. Most patients still prefer attachments over clear braces because they are a lot smaller.

Attachments are needed to help create anchorage to move the teeth more precisely. Hence, without “attachments” Invisalign will result in less predictable orthodontic treatment results.
